Pre-set training split explanation

Hi there, this is Matteo.

I'm running the 4x upper / lower split. I just finished my 1st preset meso ( 4x upper body) and I am creating my next meso. What is the difference between 4x upper body and 4x lower body? Is it the focus on upper vs lower? If so, in what terms (volume progression, progressive overload etc)?
