When you get into the nitty-gritty of recommendations on how to train, nuance is the name of the game and some approaches will seem different from others. This might even mean that what the app recommends might on occasion be different than what Dr. Mike says on a podcast or even and RP YouTube video. Because the app is designed to learn YOUR specific needs, the app’s guess is probably better than any general advice Dr. Mike has given, and of course Dr. Mike has designed and is always updating the app, so by all means go with the app’s recommendations if you’re not sure which way to go. If you find Dr. Mike’s reasoning compelling, feel free to use that approach instead, and you’ll probably get very similar and very good results in any case.
